Hi guys! Long time no talk 😊
This past week has been amazing for me, as I just ended my vacation to Cancun on Tuesday. Ah, it was my first international trip, and I can’t help but feel so much joy from it. I went to Cancun, Mexico for my best friend’s 25th birthday and it was way more than I expected it to be. So much fun and excitement – I conquered about 4 fears just from that trip alone. Crazy, right? Want to know more about my fearless trip to Cancun? Keep reading!
Last weekend, I was grateful enough to attend the GirlBoss Rally in Los Angeles, hosted by the girlboss herself, Sophia Amoruso. If you aren’t familiar with Sophia, she’s the the founder of Nasty Gal and the creator of #GirlBoss, the best book ever turned into a community for women entrepreneurs all over. At the rally, I learned so much and took away so many gems that will definitely last me a lifetime. There were so many notes I wrote down from different panels that really made me think about my life and how far I’ve come. Even though I’ve come a long way, there’s still so much I want to accomplish!
It’s been officially three months since moving to New York! This time is literally flying by, and I couldn’t let it continue without heading to Chicago to see my family and friends. Although I wasn’t able to do and see everyone that I wanted to, it was still nice being home. There’s nothing like being surrounded by genuine love and laughs. Completely warms my heart. On top of that, I was able to have quality cuddle time with our new pup, Supreme. I snapped a few moments! I hope you guys enjoy.
Working full-time can really set you back on all of the activities you want to do. Whether it’s going to the beach or hanging with friends, sometimes when the weekend comes you honestly just want to sleep and do adult things like run errands. I’ve been working full-time for almost two months, and what I’ve learned is that if you don’t set out time to do the things you love you can fall victim to a routine lifestyle. You know, where you wake up, get dressed, go to work, go home, make dinner, sleep…REPEAT. I realized that I can’t be that person, and you shouldn’t be either!
