I feel like the weekend has been calling my name since the last weekend – does anyone else feel that way? Ladies, we have survived a long week, so go out today and celebrate! As of late, I’ve been itching for a vacation and to get away from the city for a bit. Knowing that my vacation won’t be until March, I decided to add some Parisian vibes to be OOTD look – bringing some Paris inspired flare into these NYC streets!
Hi guys! With this being one of my last blog posts of 2017, I wanted to share the outfit I wore for Christmas. This Christmas meant a lot to me – it was my first time being home in four months and this time around I was bringing someone very special to me *wink wink*, my lovely boyfriend! I was so excited for him and my family to finally meet, so this time I looked for a cute outfit to get into the holiday spirit. Keep reading for my holiday outfit details!
Hi lovelies! Hope your week is going well. So, as of late I’ve been wanting to branch out and try new looks that I normally wouldn’t…starting with this look.
After the crazy snow storm in NY, the weather broke and we got a little bit of sunlight to peek through! With it being NYFW, there’s a lot of excitement in the city this weekend and it truly motivates me to go harder in my career. Honestly, one of my dreams is to be a part of NYFW, and I’m not letting go of that goal until it happens! But for now, I have to continue to push and have faith. So I went out to shoot in East Village with my roomie Mya, and we found so much amazing wall art that it was almost impossible to choose!
This past weekend was nothing short of amazing. I got to finally be a tourist in my new city, and explore every artsy part of New York I could find. I realized a lot this weekend…one of the things being that home isn’t necessarily a place. Home can be a person…home can be whatever makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Home is what you make it to be. This relates to so many aspects of life. Too often we get caught up in trying to label everything, but very seldom we reevaluate how it makes us feel.
It’s a lot like the seasons. Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean you can’t incorporate other things/pieces that make you feel good. On my trip to the Bronx to visit the Botanical Garden, I tapped into my balance: what makes me feel and how it makes me feel.
