I feel like the weekend has been calling my name since the last weekend – does anyone else feel that way? Ladies, we have survived a long week, so go out today and celebrate! As of late, I’ve been itching for a vacation and to get away from the city for a bit. Knowing that my vacation won’t be until March, I decided to add some Parisian vibes to be OOTD look – bringing some Paris inspired flare into these NYC streets!
Hi guys! I think my YouTube game is back and stronger than ever. Vlog #2 is finally up on my channel – and in this one I’m attending Sally Beauty’s Glam Lounge, running into more of my female idols, and chatting about what it really means to go for your freakin’ dreams! Interested? Check out my new vlog here.
Hi beauties! I’ve been so behind on the fashion posts lately, but I’m back with a bunch of new pieces from boohoo.com. I did a little Black Friday shopping, and really stepped out of my comfort-zone (you’ll see the other items in another post). The look that I wanted to go for was very chic, but edgy. I wore an over-sized burnt orange sweater that had flare sleeves. The sweater was super comfy, and I was able to slightly tuck it into my frilled denim jeans as well.
On Tuesday night, I attended the Warby Parker and Teen Vogue chat. It was such a cool and inspiring event! The co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, Neil Blumenthal and the editor in-chief of Teen Vogue, Elaine Welteroth spoke about their personal career journies and gave key advice to those in the audience. These type of informal events are always so great for me because it helps me stay motivated and inspired during the work week. Let’s just say that when I left, I decided to take charge on a few pending projects that I managed to push into the back of my mind. Keep reading for my top 3 key takeaways from the event!
Hi lovelies! Happy Sunday. I’m always getting questions on what it’s like to work in the beauty industry as a marketing assistant, so I though it would be great to chat about this in a blog post. In general, no one day is the same. I work for a membership beauty organization that has about 25 events a year, so there’s always plenty to do! From working with designers for the next event promotion campaign to working with our PR team on key strategies, I’m a bit of a busy bee during the week. Not to mention having to attend our events and manage the social media and PR aspect of it as well. Keep reading for a run-down of how my days usually go.
Hi beauties! I think it’s safe to say that I’ve finally FULLY recovered from NYFW 2017. Wow, the experience was truly amazing, and it makes me see that I’m really growing as a blogger. Being able to see all of these inspiring shows are humbling – which is why I’m always so excited to share my experiences with you guys.
Hi loves! I told you I’d be back with another YouTube video! This one is for my girl’s who are still learning how to master their eyebrow routine OR for my girl’s who are always on the go, and don’t have time for a long eyebrow routine everyday.
Ah, hi beauties. It’s been such a long week between attending events and working during the day, but I made it! My day three of fashion week was pretty hectic. As any New Yorker knows, getting from Midtown to Brooklyn is not an easy task, but I managed. On Saturday, I went to two events – one being the 4pm Couture Fashion Week Show (featuring Sheri Autry Couture, Tyramona by Decy Ramona, Vivre Canvas Couture and Opera Recycles) and 29Rooms by Refinery29.
