Hi beauties! I’m back with a long awaited “coffee talk” for you guys, and this topic is something that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately – Drive and Passion. There’s a lot of factors that fuel our drive to purse our passion, goals and dreams but sometimes you just have to sit back and think about whether all of those factors are positive and true intentions. I believe that when we’re going about our day-to-day lives it becomes easy to just be so focused on the end goal that you don’t think about what’s fueling the energy to get there in the first place.
Hi beauties! I looked up the other day and realized that we’re two months into 2018 already. Wow. I feel like time is just breezing by us. As we get deeper into the year, I know it can be tough to keep the faith you once had to kick-start your goals and dreams – but don’t give up. Keeping your confidence throughout the journey is one of the most important parts. Not only does it keep you motivated, but it also helps to fuel you mentally. When you’re mentally prepared to tackle your goals no matter what the obstacles might be then there’s no stopping you! If you’re currently struggling with keeping your confidence level high, then keep reading on ways to regain it!
The longer I’m on this Earth, the more I realize how easy it is to get sucked into negative vibes and energy from others. At first you don’t see how it’s truly affecting you, but over time (especially as you grow older), you start to notice. For me, it really hit in my mid-20’s. I started pin-pointing exactly where my negative energy was stemming from and told myself that I had to get rid of it and everything that was causing it. When you are holding vibes that don’t uplift and inspire you, it’s hard to progress and lead the lifestyle you want for yourself. Sure, this means getting rid of a few things you thought you needed, but that’s what growth in your 20s is all about! Keep reading for ways I dealt (currently deal) with negative energy from different factors of my life.
Wow, dare I say that this is my first blog post of the new year! Once again, thank you guys so much for sticking by me throughout 2017. Now that we are in 2018, I know it’s extremely important to hash out our goals and dreams – plotting our resolutions down into our new notebook. Trust me, I’m doing the same thing over here! I’ve been making sure that I’m staying on top of my career goals, as well as keeping my health and personal life in mind always. These things are important, and we should always remind ourselves of the goals we put in place, but don’t stress over them. Let me tell you why.
Hi guys! Wow, can you believe that we only have two and a half weeks left until 2018? It all feels so surreal, yet I’m super excited to start a new year with goals and dreams to accomplish. I did this “Planning To Win” series last year, and I really wanted to continue since I feel that at the end of the year it’s important to figure out how you will win in the following year. Although you might not accomplish all of the things that you have on your list to do, the more important thing is even having a list to begin with. The more you feel prepared to start a new year, the more drive you will have to really stick to those goals and see them through! Keep reading for helpful ways you can plan to WIN for 2018.
Hi guys! If you’re anything like me, then you know how hard it can be to juggle all the things you want to do. One thing is for certain – we are not superheroes; we cannot do it all. Sometimes we pride ourselves on the fact that we can multi-task, but does that really help us focus on the priorities in the long-run? When we give ourselves an outrageous list of things to get done we tend to feel overwhelmed and defeated because we can’t accomplish them all. Don’t feel discouraged though – this happens to the best of us. The best thing to do is to find your routine and stay consistent with it. It takes 30 days to develop a habit, so let’s make sure we are developing positive ones that can help drive positive results in our personal life, career and relationships.
Hi guys! It’s officially December, and we have ONE month left in 2017. Crazy right? Everything feels so surreal. This time around I was 6 months into my first year in NYC, working at a completely different job in Brooklyn and I had just met my now boyfriend. Wow, time really does fly! With us only have 4 weeks left of the year, I’ve been doing some reflecting on things that I want to accomplish to end the year strong and really maximize the days that I have left.
With this being the week of Thanksgiving, the office is pretty dead. Having a quiet office definitely feels nice when you have a lot of work to catch up on, but sometimes you have those down periods where you’re trying to think of things to do to speed up your work day.Trust me girl, I’m right there with you! You don’t want to feel like you’re being unproductive, so of course you want to do something that is equally stimulating. Keep reading for my top 3 things that help my days fly by!
Hi guys, happy Monday! I’m currently up thinking about my personal journey as we’re wrapping up the year, and I wanted to share some things with you all. Firstly, while we’re like a month and a half away from 2018 I just want to say this – take out your notebook right now and write down at least 5 things you want to accomplish between now and Jan. 1st, 2018. They don’t have to be huge goals – micro goals are fine! The reason I’ve asked you to do this is because I receive a lot of questions on how to turn blogging into a venture. While I don’t have all of the answers because everyone’s journey is different, what I can say is helping to figure out where blogging landed on my goals list really made me place things into perspective. Keep reading.
