Hi guys! If you’re anything like me, then you know how hard it can be to juggle all the things you want to do. One thing is for certain – we are not superheroes; we cannot do it all. Sometimes we pride ourselves on the fact that we can multi-task, but does that really help us focus on the priorities in the long-run? When we give ourselves an outrageous list of things to get done we tend to feel overwhelmed and defeated because we can’t accomplish them all. Don’t feel discouraged though – this happens to the best of us. The best thing to do is to find your routine and stay consistent with it. It takes 30 days to develop a habit, so let’s make sure we are developing positive ones that can help drive positive results in our personal life, career and relationships.
Hi guys! It’s officially December, and we have ONE month left in 2017. Crazy right? Everything feels so surreal. This time around I was 6 months into my first year in NYC, working at a completely different job in Brooklyn and I had just met my now boyfriend. Wow, time really does fly! With us only have 4 weeks left of the year, I’ve been doing some reflecting on things that I want to accomplish to end the year strong and really maximize the days that I have left.
On Tuesday night, I attended the Warby Parker and Teen Vogue chat. It was such a cool and inspiring event! The co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, Neil Blumenthal and the editor in-chief of Teen Vogue, Elaine Welteroth spoke about their personal career journies and gave key advice to those in the audience. These type of informal events are always so great for me because it helps me stay motivated and inspired during the work week. Just a few weeks ago, we were enjoying the last of this summer weather – then fall hit us like a ton of bricks in NYC. Wow, days of cold and rain. I can’t event begin to explain how shook I am from this dramatic weather change – but fall is actually my favorite season so I’m not too upset about it. With fall coming early, I think it’s safe to say it’s officially jacket season! A bomb jacket with an even bomber statement bag is my absolute weakness.
Doesn’t it seem like your weeks sometimes fly by, and you can’t even think back on what you actually accomplished? You know you have a list of tasks that need to get done, but are you really reaching the milestones you need to that will help you get to the next level?

Hi beauties! I hope you’re having an amazing Sunday, and mostly importantly, I hope you’re enjoying your lovely mothers on today. First off, I want to thank Jasmine Diane of jasminediane.com for choosing me to join her #MyGirlStory campaign. If you aren’t familiar, this campaign is all about the things you wish someone told you about when you were younger. Whether it be to not sweat the small stuff or to focus on your goals no matter what – there are always things we wish we knew then that we know now. One of the main reason I wanted to join Jasmine on her campaign is because even though I can’t go back in time and tell the younger me these things, I can share what I’ve learned for someone who might need to hear it.
Happy Wednesday lovely people! I know you don’t really receive this many blog posts from me in one week, but I definitely had a lot on my mind so I wanted to share it with you guys. After my recent conversation with my best friend Hope, I started to think – if we were given all of the things that we pray, beg and wish for would we really be ready to receive it? There have been countless amounts of times where I find myself saying, “Well if I had (blank) I would be ten times happier” OR “I want to do (blank) by the time I’m this age”. Why do we do that to ourselves? Why do we set a limit?
