Hi loves! It’s been awhile, but I promise I’ll explain in another post. Today, I wanted to chat about a topic that’s near and dear to my heart – simply because I feel like it’s not done enough. Of course you see all of the memes and tweets about how important it is to check on your strong friends, but does that lead you to actually do it? Even for me, I feel like I’m always so into helping others and checking in, that I forget that someone needs to do the same for me. So if you have a strong friend who you’re always going to for advice, but forgetting to check with them on their needs, this post is for you. Keep reading for my tips on how you can check on your strong friends and let them know you care about what they might be going through in secret.
Hi beauties! Literally a few more days of 2018, and I’m feeling so refreshed and ready to tackle the new year. My family came in from Chicago to spend the holidays with Ben and I, and I just feel so loved and re-energized. You guys know how I get when I’m around my family! Anyway, during this holiday break (and a little before), I’ve been finding some AMAZING fashion pieces, including this little number here.
I’m finally back on YouTube, after a LONG much needed break to show you all my Fall Night Time Skincare Routine, along with the products that are most used in my line up right now.
Hello lovely people! I feel like I haven’t had a REAL blog post in years, but it’s actually been like a month really. I know some of you are wondering where I’ve been, and honestly I don’t blame you. I’ve been posting on here non-stop for almost two years, so the question is definitely understandable – but guys, I haven’t forgotten about you! Keep reading to find out why I took this mini break and what I’ve been working on during my “time off” from my blog.
Happy Wednesday, beauties! Do you ever just think to yourself, “If I could wear one outfit everyday, what would I wear?” Well, I do and 99.9% of the time I want to be cute and comfy! With that being said, when I wore this black sweater dress from Zara on the first day of our trip to Paris I knew that me and this sweater dress would be seeing a lot of each other. Our first day in Paris ended up being rainy, which is why this outfit was perfect. It was warm, but also allowed me to show my chic-ness.
Hi beauties! I’m back with a long awaited “coffee talk” for you guys, and this topic is something that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately – Drive and Passion. There’s a lot of factors that fuel our drive to purse our passion, goals and dreams but sometimes you just have to sit back and think about whether all of those factors are positive and true intentions. I believe that when we’re going about our day-to-day lives it becomes easy to just be so focused on the end goal that you don’t think about what’s fueling the energy to get there in the first place.
Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I built my confidence during photoshoots, and it’s honestly something that I never thought about! Guys, back when I first started I was extremely nervous and a little concerned with how people would view me. You know those awkward stares that you receive when you’re taking photos in public? Yeah…it took me SO long to get over the stares and just focus on the content. But I can truthfully say that now I’m more confident in my craft and willing to try new things during my shoots. Keep reading on how I overcame my shyness and really owned my craft!
Hi beauties! I know it’s been so long since I had a fashion post, but not to fret – ya girl is back. The weather in NY has been so off and on, but during NYFW I made it my mission to get out there and shoot with my photographer Crystal! I’ve been so inspired with trying new trends this year, especially from seeing a few of my fashion icons via social media and their personal style. Two of the trends that I brought with me from 2017 were frills and flare! I’m obsessed with these trends in both tops and bottoms (if you couldn’t tell).
Hi beauties! Before the year ended, I was able to rock a pair of new FLOWER Eyewear specs, and it made me think about why I started wearing glasses to begin with, and how much things have changed since I was a kid. I remember being in 1st grade, and having to wear glasses that my mom and I picked out. Let me just tell you that I was not the biggest fan of them back then. They were wired and round – making me feel very “uncool.” Did I even know what cool was in 1st grade? I’m not even sure, but I did know that I felt that way! Over time, glasses really evolved from being “uncool” to the coolest trend ever. While I was too busy trying to ditch my glasses, kids were lying to their parents just so they could get glasses! Weird, right? But now in my adult years glasses have become such a huge part of my life and my personal style. Keep reading to find out why.
Hello beauties! With the new year sneaking up on us, and me experiencing some unnecessary break-outs I felt a skincare tip roundup was needed. Traveling really takes a toll on my skin, and it’s crazy because I didn’t notice it until maybe last year. The flight really dries out my skin, causing the most annoying breakouts ever. What’s worse is that I’m not even the type of person who experiences many breakouts (thankfully), but I have experienced enough to know what the do’s and don’ts are when trying to enhance your skincare routine! Keep reading for my top 7 tips that you absolutely need and should take into 2018.
