Hi beauties! Literally a few more days of 2018, and I’m feeling so refreshed and ready to tackle the new year. My family came in from Chicago to spend the holidays with Ben and I, and I just feel so loved and re-energized. You guys know how I get when I’m around my family! Anyway, during this holiday break (and a little before), I’ve been finding some AMAZING fashion pieces, including this little number here.
Hi beauties! I know it’s been so long since I had a fashion post, but not to fret – ya girl is back. The weather in NY has been so off and on, but during NYFW I made it my mission to get out there and shoot with my photographer Crystal! I’ve been so inspired with trying new trends this year, especially from seeing a few of my fashion icons via social media and their personal style. Two of the trends that I brought with me from 2017 were frills and flare! I’m obsessed with these trends in both tops and bottoms (if you couldn’t tell).
You all have seen my brunch look from my birthday, but I also wanted to share my night time look as well! With turning 25 being such a huge milestone for me, I wanted to make sure the look I put together was elegant, while showing maturity. Black was the statement color of the weekend – so with my actual birthday look I decided to rock black from head-to-toe.
Hi lovelies! Hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. It’s so crazy how it’s spring, but the sun is nowhere near out…at least not in New York. Regardless, I’m loving the pale spring colors and I honestly couldn’t wait any longer to bust them out!
With the holidays approaching, it’s hard not to indulge in a little velvety goodness! Last weekend I attended Cocktails with Claire, hosted by Claire Sulmers of FashionBombDaily.com and celeb stylist Ty Hunter. There were all types of fashion and beauty vendors at the event like Shop Nu clothing by Cyn Santana. Everyone arrived dressed to impress, including celebrities that were in the building like: Draya Michele, Teyana Taylor, Iman Shrumpet, Justine Skye and more!
This weekend I really put my fears aside, and ventured out into the city alone. Now, I love doing things alone. I’m the type of person who enjoys spending time by myself and being able to work on/do things that I love. But I will say that this was my first weekend going to an event in the city by myself without my roommate(s). I survived, and I realized that there are some things you’re going to have to do alone. You shouldn’t be scared to take the risk. It’s all about character building and getting to know yourself.
Well, I found my way to the Aaliyah Jay Meet and Greet in Harlem, NY! She held a back-to-school event for all of her supporters at the The Vanity Box Boutique.
