So, a thing happened this weekend – that thing being that I got my eyebrows microbladed (crazy right)! This experience was definitely a first for me, and I was extremely nervous and excited at the same time.
Hi guys! I’ve been working up a storm, trying to be as innovative as possible. I’ve been wanting to launch my own podcast for about some time now. I had the name already and the theme…but the only thing that was missing was the PLAN. When I wanted to launch it, what I wanted the first few topics to be about – you know, all of the overthinking and less of the doing. Well, I’m proud to announce that ‘The Female Millennial‘ officially launched yesterday morning with my very first episode!
Last week, I woke up at 5:30am. Now, if you know me then you know that this is very rare. I’m the kind of person that loves to sleep as long as I possibly can, but I’ve come to understand that when I do that then I tend to feel: rushed, unorganized and flustered. I’ve come to the conclusion that this is something I truly needed to get better at. I’m always reading about the benefits of getting up early in the mornings and all of the things that people are able to get done, so I tested it myself. I woke up at 5:30am, chilled in bed for about 15 minutes to adjust and fully wake up, then it was go time!
Hi beauties! I’m back with a long awaited “coffee talk” for you guys, and this topic is something that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately – Drive and Passion. There’s a lot of factors that fuel our drive to purse our passion, goals and dreams but sometimes you just have to sit back and think about whether all of those factors are positive and true intentions. I believe that when we’re going about our day-to-day lives it becomes easy to just be so focused on the end goal that you don’t think about what’s fueling the energy to get there in the first place.
The longer I’m on this Earth, the more I realize how easy it is to get sucked into negative vibes and energy from others. At first you don’t see how it’s truly affecting you, but over time (especially as you grow older), you start to notice. For me, it really hit in my mid-20’s. I started pin-pointing exactly where my negative energy was stemming from and told myself that I had to get rid of it and everything that was causing it. When you are holding vibes that don’t uplift and inspire you, it’s hard to progress and lead the lifestyle you want for yourself. Sure, this means getting rid of a few things you thought you needed, but that’s what growth in your 20s is all about! Keep reading for ways I dealt (currently deal) with negative energy from different factors of my life.
Hi guys! It’s officially December, and we have ONE month left in 2017. Crazy right? Everything feels so surreal. This time around I was 6 months into my first year in NYC, working at a completely different job in Brooklyn and I had just met my now boyfriend. Wow, time really does fly! With us only have 4 weeks left of the year, I’ve been doing some reflecting on things that I want to accomplish to end the year strong and really maximize the days that I have left.
With this being the week of Thanksgiving, the office is pretty dead. Having a quiet office definitely feels nice when you have a lot of work to catch up on, but sometimes you have those down periods where you’re trying to think of things to do to speed up your work day.Trust me girl, I’m right there with you! You don’t want to feel like you’re being unproductive, so of course you want to do something that is equally stimulating. Keep reading for my top 3 things that help my days fly by!
Hi guys, happy Monday! I’m currently up thinking about my personal journey as we’re wrapping up the year, and I wanted to share some things with you all. Firstly, while we’re like a month and a half away from 2018 I just want to say this – take out your notebook right now and write down at least 5 things you want to accomplish between now and Jan. 1st, 2018. They don’t have to be huge goals – micro goals are fine! The reason I’ve asked you to do this is because I receive a lot of questions on how to turn blogging into a venture. While I don’t have all of the answers because everyone’s journey is different, what I can say is helping to figure out where blogging landed on my goals list really made me place things into perspective. Hi guys! Long time no talk 😊
This past week has been amazing for me, as I just ended my vacation to Cancun on Tuesday. Ah, it was my first international trip, and I can’t help but feel so much joy from it. I went to Cancun, Mexico for my best friend’s 25th birthday and it was way more than I expected it to be. So much fun and excitement – I conquered about 4 fears just from that trip alone. Crazy, right? Want to know more about my fearless trip to Cancun? Keep reading!
