NYFW Recap: Couture Fashion Show, 29Rooms by Refinery29

Ah, hi beauties. It’s been such a long week between attending events and working during the day, but I made it! My day three of fashion week was pretty hectic. As any New Yorker knows, getting from Midtown to Brooklyn is not an easy task, but I managed. On Saturday, I went to two events – one being the 4pm Couture Fashion Week Show (featuring Sheri Autry Couture, Tyramona by Decy Ramona, Vivre Canvas Couture and Opera Recycles) and 29Rooms by Refinery29.

I really enjoyed the Couture Fashion Show. The pieces from each designer carried captivating aesthetic that really woke you up. I would say that my absolute favorite pieces came from Sheri Autry Couture. Although their pieces are more fitting for bridal and special occasions, I felt like they really aligned with my personal style, which is always great.

Transitioning to Refinery29’s event – just wow. I TRULY was in my element. I just loved the overall theme this year ‘Turn It Into Art’. They definitely did a great job working with artists and brands to turn each room into an interactive masterpiece. The event took place in a warehouse-like spot in Williamburg. There were so many artists and brands that they partnered with – ranging from Ulta Beauty, Aldo Shoes, Clarins, Jason Wu, Chloe x Halle, Planned Parenthood and more! Check out photos below:
