Hello lovely people! I feel like I haven’t had a REAL blog post in years, but it’s actually been like a month really. I know some of you are wondering where I’ve been, and honestly I don’t blame you. I’ve been posting on here non-stop for almost two years, so the question is definitely understandable – but guys, I haven’t forgotten about you! Keep reading to find out why I took this mini break and what I’ve been working on during my “time off” from my blog.
Last week, I woke up at 5:30am. Now, if you know me then you know that this is very rare. I’m the kind of person that loves to sleep as long as I possibly can, but I’ve come to understand that when I do that then I tend to feel: rushed, unorganized and flustered. I’ve come to the conclusion that this is something I truly needed to get better at. I’m always reading about the benefits of getting up early in the mornings and all of the things that people are able to get done, so I tested it myself. I woke up at 5:30am, chilled in bed for about 15 minutes to adjust and fully wake up, then it was go time!
Hi beauties! I’m back with a long awaited “coffee talk” for you guys, and this topic is something that I’ve been thinking about a lot lately – Drive and Passion. There’s a lot of factors that fuel our drive to purse our passion, goals and dreams but sometimes you just have to sit back and think about whether all of those factors are positive and true intentions. I believe that when we’re going about our day-to-day lives it becomes easy to just be so focused on the end goal that you don’t think about what’s fueling the energy to get there in the first place.
Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how I built my confidence during photoshoots, and it’s honestly something that I never thought about! Guys, back when I first started I was extremely nervous and a little concerned with how people would view me. You know those awkward stares that you receive when you’re taking photos in public? Yeah…it took me SO long to get over the stares and just focus on the content. But I can truthfully say that now I’m more confident in my craft and willing to try new things during my shoots. Keep reading on how I overcame my shyness and really owned my craft!
Hi beauties! I looked up the other day and realized that we’re two months into 2018 already. Wow. I feel like time is just breezing by us. As we get deeper into the year, I know it can be tough to keep the faith you once had to kick-start your goals and dreams – but don’t give up. Keeping your confidence throughout the journey is one of the most important parts. Not only does it keep you motivated, but it also helps to fuel you mentally. When you’re mentally prepared to tackle your goals no matter what the obstacles might be then there’s no stopping you! If you’re currently struggling with keeping your confidence level high, then keep reading on ways to regain it!
The longer I’m on this Earth, the more I realize how easy it is to get sucked into negative vibes and energy from others. At first you don’t see how it’s truly affecting you, but over time (especially as you grow older), you start to notice. For me, it really hit in my mid-20’s. I started pin-pointing exactly where my negative energy was stemming from and told myself that I had to get rid of it and everything that was causing it. When you are holding vibes that don’t uplift and inspire you, it’s hard to progress and lead the lifestyle you want for yourself. Sure, this means getting rid of a few things you thought you needed, but that’s what growth in your 20s is all about! Keep reading for ways I dealt (currently deal) with negative energy from different factors of my life.
Hi beauties! I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve talked with you all, but there have been a few topics on my mind lately, with this being one of them. Now being in my mid-20’s, I feel like I’m able to distinguish the habits that I have acquired that show me that I’m moving and growing in the right direction. Of course, my habits might differ from yours, but I think that it’s important to be able to identify these things and give yourself a pat on the back for becoming this wonderful human being who’s constantly learning and enhancing themselves each day. Here are the top four signs I found that reassured me that I’m becoming a real life adult.
