Hi beauties! I’m back, and it’s time for a new and exciting week. Lately my skin has been so out of line, and I’m realizing that during the course of the week it’s so easy to be so overwhelmed with work and your personal life that sometimes you just forget that you need to consistently take care of your body and make sure it’s receiving the attention it needs! My routine has changed a little bit, because my schedule has changed. I, now, have so much time to make sure I’m doing the things needed to take care of myself and my body, that I didn’t have before!
Here’s my list of 20 things to remind yourself of when it comes to keeping your skin healthy and glowy:
- Change your pillow cases frequently
- Take off your makeup at night – and wash your face right after
- Eat clean (at least most of the time)
- Keep you fingers away from your face
- Clean your makeup brushes frequently
- Pay attention to what your putting on your face – harsh chemicals can be damaging
- Exfoliate at least twice a week
- Purchase face masks that fit your skincare goals
- Moisture, moisture, moisture
- Change your face towel often
- Drink lots of water daily
- Try skin detox teas
- Don’t switch up your products too often
- Make sure you moisturize in an gentle and upward motion to ensure proper hydration
- Take time to de-stress at night
- Eat sugary and acidity foods in moderation
- Apply serums
- Exercise frequently to sweat out all of the bad toxins
- Get 7-8 hours of sleep a night – rest is important
- Don’t pop your pimples – let your body work at its own pace
